Happy Wednesday friends. We’ve managed to make it to mid-week, and before you know it, it will be Thanksgiving week. This year will definitely look different for families. I for one, am not gathering with my family or my husband’s family. This makes me incredibly sad, but we are trying to do the best thing for our families, and ourselves. I’m also incredibly sad that I might not get to eat turkey and dressing. I’ve never cooked turkey and dressing. #skeered. Anywho, everyone must make the best decision for their family. On that note, I say, “Holiday your way!” This post is bringing you some casual Thanksgiving outfit inspiration. We keep it casual in my family, even when we do celebrate together. Less energy getting ready means more energy for eating pie! #tistheseason 😊
The first outfit includes this darling sweater in my favorite color. This pink sweater is soft and cozy, with a batwing sleeve and a fitted waist. It’s flattering and goes great with high-waist jeans. I love these jeans with the busted knees and a raw hem. I’ve worn them with slides, as shown here. Additionally, I wear them with booties, sandals or sneakers. Literally, anything goes with these jeans.
Next, this colorblock sweater is affordable, and makes me dream of a ski vacation. It is thick quality and not too bulky. I find a lot of great sweaters on Amazon, and this one is no exception. I knew it was Thanksgiving outfit approved and I have a feeling I will be wearing it all winter. It’s another comfortable look. I don’t know about you, but after I eat all that turkey and dressing, I just want to be comfortable.
I found this color-block turtleneck sweater recently on sale. It was a one-day sale, but glad I jumped on it because it’s totally worth paying full price. It’s chenille and has a side slit. I sized up to a medium, for more length in back. I wore it with my favorite distressed black jeans, but it would be super cute with leggings too. Furthermore, it pairs perfectly with white booties and the wide brimmed hat.
Finally, this hooded top is casual, bright and fun for Thanksgiving. It’s comfortable, but not too thick and has a cropped length. Fit tip: I sized up to a medium for a little more length and it fits perfectly. Also, this tie dye top comes in several colors, so you’re bound to find a favorite one. I’ve discovered this bright mustard color goes great with hot pink, which makes me love the color even more. Combat boots are so trendy right now. They are edgy, but the white color brings a feminine touch. They have a side zipper and are the perfect addition to a casual outfit.
