Healthy Hair after 50 with Hair Biology

Good morning friends and happy Friday!  Let’s celebrate getting through another long week.  Woo Hoo!!   Can you believe it’s already March?  This year is flying by.  With the new year, I decided to focus more on my health. I have added certain vitamins to my regimen, like zinc and quercetin to keep me healthy.  I also wanted to improve the health of my hair.  I discovered a new line of hair care products, specifically for women who are 50+ called Hair Biology.  I started using the Vivid and Protected  shampoo and conditioner for color brilliance, protection and shine.  I am loving the results these amazing products deliver.  I also love that Hair Biology products are sulfate and paraben free, they contain no dyes and are infused with Biotin.

I will be 55 years old in just a few months.  One thing I have learned at this stage in life is feeling confident in my appearance and in myself in general is extremely important.  Whether I am delivering a presentation at the office, attending a meeting with my colleagues or entering a room for an event, knowing my hair looks healthy and stylish adds to my confidence. The best time of life is now! #amIright?  Looking my best and having healthy, shiny hair helps me feel proud and confident each and every day.

We can have a great hair day every day if we use the right products.  Whatever your hair care needs, Hair Biology has a collection to help you combat the signs of aging hair.  While I love the Vivid and Protected line, you might find a different collection that works for you.  Hair Biology has the Full and Vibrant line, as well as the Soft and Hydrated line.  If you are embracing your grey, the Silver and Glowing line will give you brighter, soft and manageable hair.

A little trick I keep in my pocket is to use Argan oil taming serum on my hair.  The ends of my hair often look dry and frizzy, due to the heat of curling irons, blow dryers and flat irons.  I apply a little bit of this serum to my ends (a little goes a long way) and they instantly look hydrated and smooth.  What’s great about the Argan oil taming serum is it absorbs weightlessly while it nourishes the hair.  You can also use it to tame unruly grey hairs near the scalp without your hair looking heavy or oily.

If you want to elevate your hair care routine, Hair Biology has just what you need.  Hair Biology believes it’s important to Show Your Age and has created products designed to work with your unique hair biology.  I have been using the Vivid and Protected line and I love my healthy hair.  Since my hair has highlights and low lights, it’s important to me to protect the color.  I enjoy using the Color Sealing Mask once a week to deep condition my hair.  I leave it sitting on my hair for a few minutes while showering to allow it to penetrate the hair shaft.  After rinsing and blow drying, this conditioner leaves my hair soft and manageable.  I am looking forward to even more healthy hair over time, since Hair Biology products are infused with biotin, which is known to support healthy hair growth.

The next time you make that run to Target for one thing but end up with a basket full (if you’re like me!) grab Hair Biology Vivid and Protected color brilliance shampoo and conditioner.  You’ll be so glad you did!
