Transitioning to Fall

Transitioning to fall

This has been a super busy week.  Getting this post up has taken much effort.  I am a little late to the party, but I made it.  🙂   School has started, so summer is officially over and we are beginning to transition into Fall, but it sure doesn’t feel like it when I step outside.  I have a fall transitional look to share today, and a note about re-hydrating that is key in this August heat.

Transitioning to fall

I found this duster vest on clearance in the spring and knew it would be a great piece to wear year round.  I am wearing it with shorts and layered tank tops.  The neutral colors are perfect for fall weather.  I am wearing with white, distressed boyfriend shorts, but it would also go with jeans, white or regular denim shorts.

Fall Transition Look

The vest is a great transitional piece for fall.  I’ve worn it with long sleeves and jeans and boots in the colder months.  With long cardigans and dusters in style this year, the opportunities are endless.  The length provides great coverage, helps keep you warmer with an extra layer, and is flattering for every shape and size.  Note:  because I found this on clearance at Target, I can’t find one exactly like it to link for you, however, I have linked another style below.

Because the weather still tells us it’s summer, even though school has started, I want to talk about staying hydrated.  When I find a healthy food, vitamin, or any product that has made an impact on my life, I like to share it with my friends.  I want to share with ya’ll a product that works great for rapid rehydration.  I wish I had known about this when my kids played sports.  Those long, hot afternoons on the football field often left my boys with leg cramps and feeling exhausted.  If you have kids in sports, if you exercise, play sports yourself, or suffer from leg cramps, you’ll want to know about Lyteshow.

Fall Transitional Style

With fall sports starting, but summer weather sticking around, staying hydrated is a challenge.  Lyteshow really is a game changer.  I frequently suffer from leg and foot cramps during and after a workout.  Bananas, potatoes, and Gatorade can help add potassium to your diet.  But they also add carbohydrates.  #thedreadedcarbs.  🙁  This is where Lyteshow comes to the rescue.  LyteShow is an electrolyte-replenishing, liquid concentrate created for health-focused people who don’t want unnecessary additives, sweeteners, or calories in their electrolyte products.  Its mineral base is naturally sourced in the USA and clinically tested to be a significantly more efficient form of hydration than water alone.  It has a bit of a salty, mineral like taste, but you don’t need much.  I put the recommended amount in about 2 ounces of water, and drink it quickly.  But you can also put just a drop or two in your drink and will not even taste it.  It is amazing how quickly it will make you feel better.  You can find Lyteshow on Amazon here.  I keep our house stocked with it at all times.

Add LyteShow to water to create an isotonic beverage that replaces a complete balance of electrolytes and fluids lost from exercising, sweating, or even drinking alcohol. LyteShow’s formulation will replace electrolytes lost in sweat, prevent muscle cramps, and help you recover quickly following exercise.  You can read more about it and see many rave reviews at the link I posted above.

And the best part is, the founders give you a guarantee or your money back.  #winwin

If you work in the heat, play sports, or suffer from leg cramps and low potassium, give Lyteshow a try.  Let me hear from you, I would love to know if it worked for you.
