Good morning friends and welcome back. Even though summer is officially over, I wanted to share one of my last summer dresses. While summer is winding down, it’s pretty hard to tell from the warm weather here in Texas. Light dresses are still a nice option. Today I am sharing one of my looks from our trip to San Diego. I know, I have talked a lot about San Diego lately. To be honest, I am pretty smitten with the city. But I promise to keep this one short and sweet. While we explored the town, we found some cool wall art, and I took advantage of this particular wall for a photo op.
This wall was massive. One side was blue with stacks of cars and splashes of yellow, while the other end was dark with neon pink colors splashed at the top. I love a cool wall mural, and this one was one of the most eye catching I have seen. And we accidently stumbled upon it one day while trying to meet up with a friend. When trying to find our way back to the hotel without getting lost, we turned a corner and there it was. Once we saw this wall, we stopped and took pictures immediately. We went back later in the evening, as I knew it was the perfect spot for pictures in this pink dress. Shout out to my husband for always being up for the challenge when I find a perfect photo op.

This wall worked well as a backdrop for photos in this dress. But it had so many colors, you could move a few feet over and completely change the look of the picture. We had a lot of fun just gazing at the art work and taking pictures. #beautiful
Now, about this dress. It is made of light fabric, and pleated to give a delicate look. It is slimming with the elastic waist. It’s not too short, with the hemline just above the knee. And while pink is considered a summer color, I think this dress will move right into fall with black heels and a black shawl or sweater. The best part about the dress — it’s less than $40! #score!
I have been having a rough week, with lots of deadlines and stressors. But I hope your week has gone smoothly. Thanks for stopping by.
